There’s no denying that eyebrows actually frame our face. A good set of eyebrows can totally light up your face. Which is why, eyebrow grooming should be your top priority! But not all of us are blessed with a pair of lush dark eyebrows. Eyebrow pencils are a good alternative, but then again, they’re temporary and take up a lot of time. Which is why, we’ve found a really sustainable, pocket friendly, and long lasting alternative for you- Henna! But do you know how to dye your eyebrows naturally without wrecking a mess? Don’t worry, we got your back. Here’s how you can perfectly dye your eyebrows and get that gorgeous tint!
1. Ingredients Required
- Henna Powder- 1 Tbsp.
- Water- As required
- Plastic Gloves
- Shea butter to keep the wraps stuck on theskin
- Organic Indian Gooseberry (amla) Powder- 1 Tbsp
- Fresh lemon juce-1 Tbsp
- Mixing Bowl
- A Mascara wand/ Q-tip
Put on the gloves and get to work. Take the henna and gooseberry powder and add to it some water and lemon juice and mix until the consistency is thick. Mix well and make sure to avoid any sort of bubbles.
Cover the bowl and keep it aside for some time to allow the mixture to set. Keep it at room temperature. This step is required to extract the maximum amount of color from the Henna.
4. Apply well
Prep your face by washing it with a gentle facewash. Grab some tissue and wipe off the dirt from the eyebrows. Dry them well. Post that, apply some shea butter around your eyebrows. Make sure to avoid putting it to your eyebrows. Then put some henna on your eyebrows.
5. Get Cover
Cover your dyed eyebrows with kitchen wrap. gently place it above and below your eyebrows. Make sure there aren’t any bubbles
6. Remove the henna
Once it has dried and set, remove the wraps carefully and wash out the paste. Apply shea butter to get the best results and just admire your gorgeous eyebrows!
